Rainco Umbrellas, a Sri Lankan-Muslim owned family business, created an innovative ‘thorana’ (illuminated display/decoration) of one of the oldest known Buddhist symbols - the Dharmachakra - solely out of their own umbrellas. The unique ‘Kuda Thorana’ was a concept developed by advertising agency Triad (Pvt) Ltd. and was on display at the Vesak Kalapaya at the BRC Grounds in Colombo 05 throughout the Vesak weekend.
